Damasio was interested in establishing what happened before the subjects took a card from an advantageous deck compared to before taking a card from a dis-advantageous deck.

He found that even before subjects consciously reported a difference between the decks their body was already anticipating differently.

However we are not interested in what happens before a specific deck but what happens before a specici, winning or loosing card.
We couldn’t get the full physiological records by could obtain the raw maximum values of the Skin Conductance before taking a card.
